It still excites me. We are such a diverse continent, with multiple cultures and languages but I think ,like the old trade union mantra, we have finally decided that "Together we shall always be united".
And that is our strength, we have endured and stayed. Whilst others have gone away and slaughtered the indigenous populations, we are ourselves. We respect our differences and endure. Viva the OLD WORLD!

Frankie Gavin and The Blues
This 22 year old is currently THE AMATEUR LIGHTWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD.
When asked by Eamon Holmes what he thought of the riot at Blues he replied, "Tho only problem is they didn't catch him (David Sullivan). Where has all the money gone? Anyway I'll give em something to cheer about when I win the gold in Bejing"

Sepp Blatter, Platini and the 5/6 rule.
Not only do I applaud this move as 70% of the players in the Premiership last year were foreigners but I think it should be taken further.
We are not in Euro 2008 for the obvious reason.
It is not as if we do not have the talent, we do. But it is easier (and ye'gods cheaper) for the clubs to sign a 16 year old from the third world with proven talent, than take a risk (and spend the money) on a promising 9 year old from the UK.
Where I would take it further (and I would be interested to hear Blatter's and Platini's views on this) is to say that 70% of the managers in The Premiership should be from England too.
As it is we have the farce of Fabrio Capelli managing an England team when he does not understand the English style of play. The same was true of the much trousered Sven Goran Eriksson.
The Feck All have not got a clue and Brian Barwick can't hold a candle to the last great man at the F.A. Ted Crocker.
As usual they will dilly dally and do sod all.

Johnny Cash, Kris Kritofferson, Wille Nelson et al.
What a song. I am agnostic, but respect parts of all religions and Buddhism has no threats and, as far as I know they have never fought a Holy War (a contradiction in terms if ever I heard one). However, as usual I digress - the song:-

They charge premium rate telephone numbers like 0870 for traffic info and 08508 for texts which is also PREMIUM RATE. Bustards - when your licence van comes down your road - say "rip orf".

Phil Ochs and Abbie Hoffman and the FBI
Both of these guys were terrorised and hunted by crooks at the FBI. But both were patriots and loved their country, much more than most of the hypocrites like George W(anker) Bush. This is an extract from a marvellous film abut Abbie Hoffman and I recommend you get a copy asap.

Sunrise and Sunset over Kernow
Annie's of Liskeard in Kernow
This is an antique shop with a difference. For a start Annie likes wierd things like Chris and myself and her shop is fill of curiosities from bygone ages.
Much to my disgust they have recently hoovered and dusted but fortunately a few ancient cobwebs and their makers remain. For a flavour I have included a few pictures. The geezer in the armchair has been well stuffed, by a reputable local taxidermist, and is available for 50p.

My nemesis by the Prime Minister.
That fool from Kernow wrote to me a year ago pointing out that the poor would lose out due to my decision to abolish the 10p rate of tax.
Of course he was wrong I have succeeded in my lifetimes ambition of punishing the poor. And in so soing I have guaranteed a Tory victory at the next election, because as you know Tone and me are closet tories.
Long live Margaret Thatcher!

DISGUSTING CHANGE TO USE OF BUS PASSES IN KERNOW
WE are not part of England but a separate island. So why are we not allowed to travel free in peak periods.

The price of fishcakes in South EAST KERNOW.
They vary tremendously. The best buy is in Liskeard at 60P and they are also the most tasty.
AT Looe they charge a ridiculous 95P.
Whilst in Callington they are a ludicrous £1.20

Martin Taylor and "That Tackle".
Martin Taylor is not a malicious player. The tackle was one that takes place at least once in almost every football game. What was terrible was the relsultant damage to a young man at the start of WHAT WILL HOPEFULLY BE A GREAT CAREER.
The most telling comment I have ever heard about Martin Taylor came from a Hull City supporter who having watched him, last year, remarked that he had the turning circle of the Queen Mary.
And if you watch the video that was exactly the problem on this occassion. Martin was trying to turn and stretch out his great leg but he was too slow and the result half of the world has seen. But rest assured there was no ill intent on his part.
