We won narrowly by three goals to two but the match revealed what I have suspected. We do not have the depth or the quality in the team to impress in the Premier League this season. More players are desparately needed if Flash Carson has the money to splash on anything rather than his luxury yacht. There are rumours that his fortune is built on sinking sands but we shall see.

Anyway a few boots are going to walk over us this season unless we get some good players in and this does not necessarily mean spending a fortune. They are out there but our scouts are crap and can't find anything of value at a bargain price. Mind you a few Blues supporters that I know wouldn't mind these boots walking all over them.
