 The Cuban Revolution is 60
Former Cuban President and revolutionary combatant Raúl Castro spoke at an event to mark the 60th anniversary of the Cuba Revolution in Santiago de Cuba on New Year’s Day.
“After 60 years of struggle, sacrifices, efforts and victories, we see a free, independent country, the master of its own destiny” he said, and warned the United States that attempts to crush the island were doomed to failure.
